Should I be worried?
Hi all,
Just noticed my front tire has those vertical cracks along the grooves. It is manufactured in ‘19 according to DOT marking on the side, so 5 years old.
Should I act quick to replace it?
Thanks for any input.

Normally this type of "dry rot" and/or cracking does not appear on 5 year old tires. Perhaps the harsh Canadian climate quickened the dry rot?

I would get those replaced ASAP. Not worth the risk of a possible blowout just to save a few extra bucks by waiting.

As said above. Time to replace these. Manufacturing date 2019 (which week?) means they are about to turn 6 years old soon. At that point it's recommended to replace tires anyway. Tire warranties expire after 6 years and especially in harsher climates the compound has significantly deteriorated by then.
