Replace drivers instrument panel/console screen
Tried asking this question on r/mercedes_benz and got no answers.
Car: 2017 E300 4matic, trim level 2.
The console screen is starting to have problems. The screen is very green when it starts, but gains color back after warming up. I want to take this opportunity to replace it with the digital instrument panel/console screen.
The screens are easy enough to find on eBay and other locations like that, but I don't want to buy the wrong thing and go through hassle after hassle.
Who should I look at for a better experience? I've read that a new panel won't show mileage. Who can fix that? I have basic tool experience. Can I do the work safely myself?

I read somewhere it has to be programmed in, ask the sellers usually they have leads to where it ca be programmed in
