w213 e350 oil temperature
However one time I did a 700km drive (one way) at ambient 36’C. It’s a gentle gradient downhill most of the way and I was opening up the throttle and driving at 130km/h often. I noticed then that my oil temp was up at a sustained 106’C then, sometimes hitting 107’C.
If my oil temp is at 105’C regularly then I’d switch to 5000km oil change intervals. Also I read somewhere that the oil temp sensor is at the oil pan at the bottom of the engine, so actual oil temps if they’re coming from the turbocharger, or at the cylinder heads, and cams may be much higher. Assuming your sensor is fine and calibrated, your oil is going to wear out quicker at higher temps, so frequent oil changes are a good idea.
Which begs the question, why is your engine running hot? Sustained heat is never a good thing.

Consider upgrading to a better lubricant you're comfortable using.
Try to service no later than 5kMi...
the stock "10kMi interval" should be shortened.
