W213 trunk problem

E-class 220d -16
W213 trunk problem
Hi I have a W213 wagon from 2020. Today I noticed that the trunk lid doesn't want to open when pressing the button on the lid. I usually use the function on the remote or the button in the driver side door panel. But today I wanted to open the lif from the trunk directly, and nothing happens. Is there some kind of child-lock function on the trunk lid that I've missed? Or any other things to check before I take it to the repair shop? Cheers

There is a valet lock button/switch located in thr glovebox on some mb models, see if it is that.

You're welcome, hope that's it and you accidentally hit it when grabbing something in the glovebox.

He a look yesterday, but can't find anything in the glovebox.

Drove past the repair shop, they need to take out the boot lid interior and then measure the voltage to see if it's the button that's broken.

They also said they had similar cases before, so probably broken button.

Hmmm interesting the W213 doesn't have a button.

There is a method to open an unlocked trunk from outside without using the fob.
