Question tuning an e200

I have a 2020 e200 with a m264 engine that i want to tune, and need help with a couple of questions.

1) if i tune my engine with dinan sport tune meant for an e300 is that ok?
2) if it is ok would it give me e300 power with a tune (280-ish ig) OR e200 power with a tune (240-ish)
3) also 98 RON isnt available in my region can i still run the race preset on 95 RON? What are the possible outcomes of using 95 RON?

Im sorry if this is alot but i cant find anything online, thank you to anyone that can help

Why do you want to tune it?

the M260/M264 has a known failure point with the exhaust valve seats failing. Mercedes specifies the entire engine head to be replaced when that happens. Only MB USA and MB Canada has an extended warranty on the M260, and that only covers unmodified engines.

You’re using RON95 that will detonate earlier and will advance engine timing compared to RON98. You’re increasing boost & pressures in the cylinders with the ecu remap and any other mods you install.

So It begs the question: why would you knowingly increase the likelihood of messing up your engine head?

Personally I feel a stage 1 ecu tune to 190 KW/255bhp/ 258PS output could be safe as e300s are tuned to that level. But anything higher is unknown territory. A derated M264 like on the 145KW E200 is likely to be more reliable and less prone to failure than a 225KW CLA35 on the other hand.

Im aware of the cylinder head failure, will an extra 30-40 hsp which e300s are already at effect reliability that much?
Also 98 RON is coming to my country soon i can wait out race mode till then.
Im not planning on pushing the engine that much, 30 hsp would be fun occasionally and i dont think reliabilty will take a hit

Do you know if the head failure is linked to anything? Country? I commonly see it on glc's. Also i have 3 w213 mercs and none of them had this failure to my knowledge

Lets go back to the OP, does it work on my engine? How much will the output be?

For anyone that wants to know, i contacted Dinan and they said this tune wont work on m264 engines.

It seems they changed the sensors between m274 and m264.

If you have an m264 just get the jb4 tune basically
