Hey folks. Got two issues with my 2017 E300. Both are I believe related.

1. first issue is that when ever I get into the car the seats don’t do the same thing as if I’ve left the vehicle. For example, if I have the side bolsters at level 2 (when cornering they should move) and lock the car then get back in, they go back to level 0. Unless I go into the menu every single time they will not save.

2. second issue is the massaging seats. Passenger seat works fine. Driver seat massage starts and stops after 5 seconds. No matter which massage option I choose it stops. Sometimes it works, most times it doesn’t. It also doesn’t want to save the “high intensity” option for the driver side. Passenger side it does remember and saves.

any help would be appreciated. The battery is new and OEM from Mercedes.

You need to save your profile after making changes.

Could be one of the lines from the pump is bad

I have them memorized for #1. Doesn’t matter if I save it or not. Only works if I press #1 after I start the car again.

But that doesn’t answer the question as to why the massage function doesn’t work.

I removed the seat a little while ago when I vacuumed and cleaned under the seat. All lines are good it seems.
