2019 E450 unusual whistle under boost 4K rpm +
Hi yall, need some direction or help identifying this issue, not sure if any one has come across this before or anything similar. I've had this car since new so I know what it should sound and feel like m276 V6 3.0 Biturbo. It sounds and pulls normal under moderate throttle input but anything over half throttle constant acceleration 3,500rpm up to redline or WOT again same thing 3.5-4K to redline there is this loud air whooshing sound, car doesn't seem to be down on power maybe ever so slightly but on the "performance screen" where the horsepower, torque oil temps are. still pulls up to 370hp and 370tq no check engine lights no error codes, I did a quick visual inspection and all the hoses, piping, clamps, mounts etc appear to be on and tight, no exhaust leaks, sounds normal at idle and even if you rev it to the 4K soft limiter in neutral there is no abnormal sound only under, heavier to WOT acceleration. Kind of thinking it appears like the waste gate sticking? Ive attatched a video in the first pull it is the heavy acceleration, video quality is good but I was hoping the whooshing noise would come across more, second pull it is normal acceleration into a moderate pull where you can again hear the whooshing in higher rpm range under boost.
