very nice! I have no runflats. I have Goodyear non RF with about 38psi all around. Lighting package is nice! I had it in my old W213.

I had runflats on my old w213 and I had them replaced immediately! No thanks!

After a week of ownership

So after a week of ownership damn! This is soon! However the CPO warranty will come in handy. Local MB dealer is picking up my car via their concierge service. Dropping off a loaner car and all. $50 charge. Even though I bought it in CT and my dealer in NY is taking care of it all. I have a god awful GLB loaner that will stay parked LOL

MB Came in clutch. The radar sensors behind the grill were damaged when I bought the car never noticed it drove the car home no issues. I parked it. All of a sudden the car starts giving me these issues. They decided to replace the entire part for me, even though it technically didn’t fall under a warranty claim due to damage. Even waved the $50 co pay. $0 to me. MB thank you.

Should have been caught during the CPO inspection so should have been repaired before you got delivery, but it's all good now, did it shut off the emergency braking also? I just see the light on?

Should have is right! The emergency braking was not shut off as far as I know. It very could have been? Just the blind spot. I did not drive it after that because I figured it was just best to have the CPO take care of it. Just took put it in the garage at one of my rentals properties until they fixed it.

E450 is nice. My wife's is a '22. Turning off ALL the nannies is difficult. Notably, to engage cruise control is to engage some level of auto driving that wants to command the steering wheel. And Sport steering and Transmission gives you teeth chattering Suspension. I've decided that of Engine, Transmission, Steering and Suspension, it's only possible to get 3 of the 4 right at any time. But that's on the God awful runflats. Brand new I hate those things. Her car her choice. We both prefer my '06 though. And "Free" helps.

We originally leased this thing, loaded and stuck on a dealer lot during the chip shortage. Right then I decided it was never going back to MB. Better car for her than me though.

maw

EDIT... Oh, forgot... issues ... over the 3 years we owned it, it's had 3 recalls (fuel pump, 12V battery, 48V battery ground, IIRC), and this past weekend the compressor went on strike (Warranty) and something else was triggering a CEL (I want to say some fuel evap something or another, I'll know when I pick it up). I thought the latter was a gas cap so I'm happy to have it replaced under Warranty. Less than 4yrs and 40k miles, which... OK Mercedes, what part of the game is this?

I still can't find car wash mode, I wonder how many safety features I have to turn off to go through one

I'm told its way more than that, I think the Active Brake Assist,Parking Assist and the Automatic trunk opener also needs to be turned off separately?

Car wash mode? Yea I do not need to bother with that. I use the touch free ones once in a while. Other than that I like to wash them myself.

Better to have it covered under warranty I always say. Beats paying it out of pocket! My E350 W213 came with RF tires. Had them removed immediately

I just use car washes when we travel, I wash at home 90% of the time, I just want to figure out what systems need to be turned off, I'd hate to go through a carwash and have the trunk open

Mine came with brand new RF tires, at 36 PSI they seem fine so far, Obviously when they wear out in 20-30k miles I might not buy them again, I think RF tires have improved quite a lot since introduction.

I just replaced ours within the last month at 30k miles.

I can confidently report they are still terrible.

But she wants RF so she has them.

Interesting, I'd say this facelift 213 is more refined than my 212, Quieter, handles better, gets 3-4 more MPG, seats are better and the headlights almost equal to the Xenon's, I drove 470 miles home from the dealer and didn't notice any ride or handling issues with the tires at all, granted, I have not driven this exact car without them, but I thought it rode as well as my last 212 with Continental DWS06 plus's

You must be in Comfort mode, which I can't stand, except for the suspension. And I drive a bunch of cars with DWS06 on them. In this one as soon as I go to Sport (which is where I like the Steering, Engine and Transmission) I hate the Suspension. Car feels jittery and insecure like it's on skates. I feel like DWS06 would fix that.

But this is her car not mine, so I don't really think much about it. Drove it 10 hours last weekend for a road trip over familiar roads on new rubber, and realized how bad it was. But I'm comparing it to my S55 AMG so maybe not fair.

Yes, Comfort, I liked it better than Economy, I will try sport mode this week, I agree I think the steering is better in Sport but the suspension isn't
