High pitched squeal
Hi, I’ve got a c238 e class coupe 2018 and on the same bit of road nearly everyday I get this high pitched squeal which sounds like it’s from the drivers side it’s when I’m slightly turning and sometimes it will do it in a straight line but always on the same bit of road and when I touch the brakes it stops, I’ve changed the discs and pads and the lower arms but it still does it, anyone else had this issue.? Thanks

2018 E400 Coupe
I may have heard the same thing on my 2018 E400 Coupe that you describe. It occurs on a stretch of freeway that is being reconfigured to add a lane; the previously existing lane markers have been removed by grinding them off the surface of the road, including the area between one lane-marker-line and the next in sort of a continuous washboard pattern about 6" wide within the new, narrower lane. When the tires on either the right or or left side of my car drive over that it makes a fairly loud buzzing sound ("ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....").. Very annoying! ! try to drive so that my tires aren't on that, but that's not always possible as the lanes are now so narrow. Hopefully the roadway will be resurfaced and restriped when this project is completed.
