Agreed, I think it'd be pretty cool. Ford has added a "Fox Body Style" Digital gauge cluster to the new Mustang.
I personally think my W211 Sport has some of the best modern gauges I've seen in a Benz, they look even better than the S-Class' of that era in my opinion too. I'd love to see a digital version of these.
That being said, I'm glad the "Classic" style gauge cluster still exists with MBUX, BMW on the other hand has thrown out any sort of gauges with a legible circular tachometer.

I like the look of the center screen......not overly large and blends in well. However, the screen in front of the driver, looks totally tacked on, and not at all integrated......almost as if they found a space between the steering and the dash, into which a tablet can be dropped in, and they just glued in a tablet into that spot.....ugly as hell.

Oh my god, is that a bunch of little Mercedes logos on the passenger side dash trim? It is bad enough Mercedes put their logos on the tail lights and now it is all over the interior trims too, enough is enough.

I like it because at night they light up in the interior’s selected ambient light color.

Availability in the US
Hi,
Do you know when could we start ordering the w214 in the US? Maybe Feb 2024 with a June/July delivery date? This webpage says “on-sale date: early 2024” https://www.motor1.com/reviews/67846...ss-review/amp/
I found another item saying sale date of April 2024.
Thanks!

Traditional, luxury grille looks great! Why can't Mercedes-Benz allow U.S. customers to have this choice? The "AMG" line grille, fake exhausts, and excess screens inside make this a deal-breaker to me. I would think at least 20% or so of the U.S. market would prefer the traditional look.

The gaudy styling screams "can you see me now" and turns me, a lifetime driver, off!
Form follows function used to be about "Engineered like no other car in the world".

Most dealers have in inventory the sport and not luxury. That is why I ordered mine.

I agree!!! MBUSA is now marketing to the same group who need bling with the illuminated Mercedes logos in the tail lights, interior trim and front grille.

I believe it is the same case, where the hood ornament and classic grille were available as a “choice”, but when one goes to buy it, there’d be none available at the dealership….…ordering of course is an option, if one is willing to wait for months for the car to come in, and most people would just skip the hassle and get the car in stock….without the hood ornament and the classic grille. And then the automaker would claim that only the non-classic versions sold.
