All the daytime LED dots and lines and strips are there to appeal to younger buyers because they resemble emoji eyes and eyebrows. The new taillights also resemble emoji eyes.

I never liked the previous gen dashboard with two side by side screens. I never liked it from when they first introduced it in the S Class about a decade ago.

New EPA Documents Hint at Return for All-Terrain in the US
Looks like one final E-Wagon may arrive after all. In addition, looks like the CLE will receive engines from both the C and E-Class’.

I just turned 50 and I like this new generation. Is that younger? I've been on the EQS boards lately and I have a feeling I'm like 15 years younger than the average over there.

Great news! Thank you for posting. So nice to know there is an excellent chance of another new ICE wagon when I'm done with this one. Personally I think the W214 looks great inside and out. Not into all of the pointless tech that detracts and distracts from driving, or the hyperscreen...and I would prefer the 'luxury' trim...but I'll take another AT with M256 if that's what will be available. 53, FWIW.

Another Wagon? This changes everything!

^ Noticed that, too. Much prefer a square setup in a vehicle that has relatively even weight distribution, and glad they aren't 20s and 21s being offered. 255/40 will mean more sidewall than the current 20 setup, and I'm all for that. Lots of tire choices in that size already, too, unlike the currect 20 setup. Being the same overall size and with the same drivetrain (and hopefully no additional weight), I don't think the W214 needs any more tire than the W213. Also noticed the 'summer' tire option does not indicate run-flats, but I expect that is wishful thinking.

Since the weight inherently shifts to the rear while accelerating (from the static even distribution), I don’t mind a 275 in the rear. And I personally don’t like the skinny-tire look from the rear of the 245 equipped car……a 275 (or at least a 265) is a MUCH better looker, IMHO. I believe you have the 20s, with the 275 in the rear…..visually, that’s my preference. I don’t think they can fit more than a 255 (or a 265 max) in the front, due to clearance issues in the front, and thus in a square setup, it has to be a 255 wide arrangement.

Since it has the blue adhesive strip on the door, it might not be a prototype and production vehicle actually that is already ready to be delivered, that was surprisingly fast.
I want to just add that these blue adhesive strips on the door is what comes with when it gets shipped to a dealership and that the dealerships go through PPI and removes it including all the protective covering inside the vehicle, on the seats, door sills, etc.

Looks awful.
How Mercedes went from the W222 and the W213 to this hyper digital, cheap looking (and feeling) nonsense is beyond me.
Mercedes nailed it with the last gen E and S. All they had to do was refine design and build quality. WTF were they thinking?
