Thank you! No rear wheel steering unfortunately. Does the sedan also have 896 digital key standard? I'm happy it's finally coming to the US.

Some nice standard equipment and a few annoyances…but the biggest disappointment for me is apparently no 4-zone climate in the US.
I seem to recall that 214 is the last model that will have a wagon in the US? Or am I mistaken?

I agree with that and implementation of rear wheel steer would have been nice. Originally Posted by Alan Smithee

Thanks for posting. Verde silver, and the new 20" AMG wheels look promising. Is that 4D Burmester the maxed out stereo for all W214s...or is there a five dimensional final boss available only to sedans (similar to the w213)?

That seems odd. I read somewhere that 50% of E class sold in Germany were wagons.Originally Posted by Alan Smithee

Thank you for posting this. I am a bit sad to see tha there are no wood steering wheel options. that has always been available on wagons. I think most wagon owners I know like that! Maybe this is a first draft version?Originally Posted by Eaton

^ Doubt it will be coming. The wood interior trims on the W214 are all ‘open pore’; none of the traditional polished which could be paired with the wood wheel. It’s a more contemporary luxury look, for better and for worse.
The German configurator has more options than we are being offered…including the aforementioned 4-zone climate control…but the wood trims are the same.

Not a fan of wood steering wheels, they burn one here in Texas with the 5 months of over 100F heat and in the winter they are freezing. Originally Posted by Zanine1208!

The MB wood steering wheel has Napa leather grips at the 9 & 3 positions. I never grip the steering wheel elsewhere. I have one and in Florida it is always comfortable.

Many thanks for sending, I was remember the my sister's GLS 450 has an open pore wood dash and wheel. Oh well, I bet you are right though that they feel they look less modern lux.
