Should I pick out my fluid brands for Indy shop work?
Hey guys. 14’ w212 getting transmission, coolant and brake fluid swapped. I got some quotes from local Indy shops that work on Mercedes/european. Am I to assume they’re using OEM and or correct fluid weights?. Should I be buying my fluids separately? If so, what brands would you recommend?

Ask them what they will use.
If you have a favorite or feel one brand is better for your car then others then ask them if you can bring the fluids with the car.
Just make sure you have more then enough for the service they are doing is all.

Assume nothing. Ask what fluids they will use, and if not acceptable to you, tell them what you want used. If they don't want to acquire fluids you want, ask if you can bring your own. Recommended fluids can be found at https://operatingfluids.mercedes-benz.com/
