One thing that bothers me in the E350 W214 lease I have is the sun visor. My 2012 E350 had the double visor where you can move the main visor to the side window and then another visor could be brought down in front. This allows you to block the sun as it moves from side to front and I find very useful. The 2024 E350 has a regular single visor that is also very awkward to use. When you swing it to the side, it doesn't extend level and wants to angle down making it hard to adjust IMO. And it does not have the additional visor that allows you to block the front and side at the same time like I had in my 2012 E.
I got my updated build sheet for the 2025 (originally a 2024) build I have on order and it has different language for the sun visor option. This makes me believe that maybe the lease I have is not normally what is coming on these cars. It's an early build that also doesn't have the garage door opener so it's possible that other parts was missing. At least that is what I am hoping for. The build sheet for the 2024 E350 lease says "543 Double Sun Visors" while the build sheet for the 2025 I have on order is "543 Pull-Out Sun Visor". Even more confusing is that the language on the lease build of "double" seems like it would be what I had on the 2012 but clearly that is not what is in the car.
Does anyone with a W214 have the sun visor in their car like the one shown in the below video? I've captured an image of the visor in the video below as well.
I picked my W214 E450 about 1 month ago and it only has the single sun visor. I also had a W213 with the double visors. Also they no longer have the small cargo net on the front right side of the passenger compartment. Two very inexpensive things that are no longer available.
