Question About Standard Features!? Help!

Hi Everyone,

I just purchased a 2024 E350 this week, and the my local dealership found one about two states away, and called me this morning to tell me that they were able to secure the vehicle! I will have it by the end of the month.

My question is, in the catalog it shows that all new e350's have logo projection coming from the mirror when the park is parked, and illuminated door sills? Is this true? I'm coming from a 2015 S550 where I have illuminated door sills, and also have the logo projecting, but from the door and not the mirror.

Is this definitely included? I can't find any videos online.

Thanks!

The image on the MB "build" page shows the logo being projected from the door. If it was from the mirror, the door would block the image that is projected towards the door jamb. It is listed as optional.

True, but look at the attached photo in the catalog.

I didn't find an image of logo projection coming from a mirror. I did find an image of logo projection coming from a door. I also found instances where the projectors are listed as optional as well as instances where the projectors are listed as standard. Perhaps the standard equipment list changed after the '24 model was introduced a year ago. If you have the VIN you can look up the equipment list to see exactly what is on the car. Otherwise, you'll have to wait 3 weeks until it is delivered.

Thanks so much! I know what you mean about the door light. I really don't like the one they have on the "build" site. I like the mirror puddle lights that show one big Mercedes star. Anyway, I emailed my salesman to make sure he knows I do want that if they don't have it when it comes up from the other dealership, as well as add the rear spoiler, and ceramic coating.

Thank you for all of your help!

Standard is the lights that project a large MB Star logo from the mirrors once they pop out. Pictures below were taken in my garage during the day but doors were closed so you can see the projection. During the day, you cannot see them at all as you would expect.
