W214 Tire Setup

Fingers crossed I will be picking up my new 350 next week, the vehicle is an amazing piece of work, especially with the superscreen package. My only concern is upon further inspection I realized that the "High-Performance Tires" were unfortunately summer tires being the PZeros 245/40R20 *MO 99Y.

As someone who lives in the NE where we have cold winters and snowy/icy conditions, I have become concerned about these tires and started looking into all seasons at the very least to have one up until April kicks in before swapping back to the summer set.
Upon further searching, the best matching and affordable tire that I currently have found is the Pirelli P Zero A/S Plus 3 (https://www.pirelli.com/tires/en-us/..._40-r20/99y-xl)

Can anyone recommend this or does someone have a different recommendation, thoughts, or opinions?

Thanks!

As you getting 20" wheels the sidewalls are quite narrow and the chances of bubbles in the sidewalls will be very high. Suggest you buy tires from Costco: Costco gives you a 5 year road hazard warranty.

If you drive enough miles annually to justify winter tires, get a second set of wheels and winter spec'd tires. If you're looking for a single tire to use year-round , go with an all season tire with a 3MPSF traction spec, such as Michelin's CrossClimate2.

Would you recommend the Michelin's over the PZeros I linked?

It depends on what you're looking for in an all season tire. All season tires vary considerably, and the term "all season" does not necessarily mean summer, fall, winter and spring in every climate. Some all season tires are 3MPSF traction rated, others are M+S rated, some are neither. Best idea is to write down your priority list (ex: treadwear, year-round use, winter traction, ride comfort, etc.) and go talk to someone at a tire dealer who can offer you several recommendations.
