E/W214: Phone holder

Why do you need a phone holder? Why not put it on the wireless charge pad and if you don't have wireless charging get a small cable to use in the center console. Then use AA or CP with it showing on the big screen.
That is likely why there is limited choices. Not many would need a holder in this car.

I concur with @L1Wolf , why do you need a phone holder in this day and age with AA and CarPlay. But if the screens in your car aren't enough for you and you still want to prop up your phone as a third screen, I used ProClip USA in the past. It doesn't look like they have one for the W214 yet, though. I just ordered the iPhone 16 Pro and was looking on ProClip USA for the compatible holder as I still need one for the wife's car. Her car doesn't have CarPlay. The great thing about ProClip is that it is a two piece solution. They make custom car mounts for different vehicles and also have a suction cup mount for traveling and then the second piece is the holder for the phone itself, and you can change them independently. Gonna order their latest MagSafe compatible charger/holder for the wife's car.

I was somewhat surprised that ProClip published a photo with my 5-star review of the modified EQS SUV phone mount. I think the EQS mount next to the cockpit screen is a better solution since it does not encroach into the passenger space.

I'm with L1Wolf and Superswiss in that I find no need for a car phone holder now that I have CarPlay. I used to be a big user of ProClip products and I think they are fantastic, but I simply have no need for them anymore. I pop my iPhone into the charging area and CarPlay handles it from there. The charger is the phone holder for me. Plus the W214 wireless charger reminds me to take my phone when I'm getting out of the car!
It's actually infuriating to me to see someone driving a modern car, that more likely than not has bluetooth and CarPlay, holding their phone to their ear or texting on the phone while driving. Lots of those folks are crossing center lines and weaving all over. It is illegal in many states and unsafe in all states.

If the interiors in my Taycan, EQS SUV, and E53 had conveniently located dual wireless charger like my Tesla did, I would not have bothered to install the ProClip phone mount. The Magsafe charger on the ProClip mount is 100% reliable compared to the hit-and-miss charging connection experienced with the hidden wireless chargers in the Taycan and MBs. The MB chargers are better than the Taycan charger which required two hands to place or remove a phone.
