Paint repair?

To apply the touch up paint I use an insulin syringe, i'll use the brush in the bottle of paint and dab a little bit of paint on the tip of the syringe so theres a tiny blob of paint, touch the tip of the syringe right into the middle of the rock ship or scratch and it seems to fill and level on its own. If it doesnt look good just wipe it off and do it over.

I have the touch up kit from Mercedes which includes paint and clear coat: two separate bottes. Has been sitting on my desk for two years!
With this thread you guys have gotten me motivated to finally do the touch up on my car! THANKS!

The rear bumper has the paint just chipping right off.
Heres a big rock chip on the hood. Maybe a clear coat on top would make it shiny and blend in better. My main goal was rust prevention.

I noticed a few more chips I have to fill in, two looked like rust. I probably deal with rust alot more than most since I live right on the water, park my car about 10' from the ocean.
