Center "3d" screen blurriness?

Center "3d" screen blurriness?
This is driving me crazy and seems like a safety issue - wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.
In the center of the driver display, MB has needlessly designed in their "3d display" function, which basically makes it look like some of the info is floating a bit in front of the rest of the display. Clever but pointless.
The issue is, the front-most display is constantly trying to refocus based on "driver eye location". It can look correct and in-focus and then if you move your head an inch to the right, it's all blurry. The system clicks through a few times trying to adjust the display to focus correctly. Almost like the eye doctor doing the "this one or this one" thing.
It really does not work well. That screen ends up out of focus more often than not, at least in my car. And it's really distracting.
Is anyone else seeing this issue?

I have the 3D display and have not had this issue. If I am shifted in my seat and looking at the display at an angle it will be blurry for a second but that's an edge case. It can be turned off easy by tapping the 3D icon in the upper left corner of the middle screen. If you take a picture of the 3D display it will be blurry as well. I turn it off for pictures.
