E350 Recall - Won’t let me purchase
Made a deal to buy a 24 E350 4M in NJ. Was told today that I won’t be able to pick up as there was a recall that was supposed to be fixed today but now it’s 12/20 so the deal is put on hold. Anyone have info on this issue. Campaign info said 24P2199666 thanks in advance was really looking forward to getting it.

Do you have the VIN? Look here for info I posted about a 2024 W214 recall. It might be what is preventing you from buying the car. Some recalls include a stop sale where dealers are prohibited from selling a car with an unresolved recall. Nothing you can do but wait or buy another car. The 2025 MY is available and does not have any recalls I am aware of.

The 2025 are being delivered. Your car a 2024 is already one year old!

it’s a low mile service loaner CPO they are selling $81 car at $68. I do a ton of driving (25k a year) so the unlimited mile service is appealing to me.

What I do not understand is that as per post #2, this is an update which is done over the air - which takes minutes hours at the most and you should not have to wait 6 weeks until 12/20.
Suggestion: print out the recall notice and take it to the dealer for their explanation of why it cannot be done now.

I believe what you have is an extended warranty through Mercedes Benz which is good for 7 years 100,000 miles. This is standard for all CPO cars. The price of the warranty is built into the cost - which at $68K is excellent.
What I do not understand is that as per post #2, this is an update which is done over the air - which takes minutes hours at the most and you should not have to wait 6 weeks until 12/20.

Can you negotiate a refundable deposit on the car; if they don't meet the recall execution date or it's not effective for some reason you can back out
