All display screens died in new 2025 E350
My car is only 6 weeks old. I was on the highway stuck in traffic for 3 hours and all the screens died including the one behind the steering wheel. I was left with no odometer, no navigation, no climate control, nothing. Even more surprising was that the turn signals don't work. I took it to the dealer and it's been there for 4 days and counting.

My car went to the dealer today for the same black screen situation. It would reboot on its own in my case. I've had the car since July and it has occurred intermittently since the beginning. I know MBUSA is aware of the situation but there is no defined "fix" as far as I know. I'll let you know my how things turn out. I'm not very optimistic at this point.
Mine is not a super screen. In the begining, the screens would reboot on the next trip. On my last trip, when I really needed it, it did not reboot at all. During the "black-out", one time only, all of a sudden I could see a small part of both screens and then they went away. I will post updates in this thread if I have any.

I had a similar occurrence happen when driving out to eat one-night last month where the entire infotainment system, center dash, and passenger screen all went black and rebooted mid-drive (maybe 30 seconds - 1 minute in total). Upon taking it to the dealer they said there was a loose connector that was caused due to road vibrations and was slightly disconnecting causing the issue.
Hope this helps.

Hi Everyone. I had the same issue since taking the car July 31, 2024. Had it to dealer twice. The third was a charm as Mercedes gave the dealer various fixes to download to my MBUX modules. Had not had an issue since then. Good for the past two months. Have service manager contact Mercedes and state this is a Safety Issue as if it happens at night a crash can suddenly happen.

I had one of the first '24s (E350 - no superscreen) and never had an issue like this. Interesting that it's happening on the '25s
I am in Canada too and I totally understand the frustration with dealing with the MB Canada division.
Had somewhat similar situation on my 2024 E450. Screens didn't die, just froze the first time. Pulled over and restarted and functionality was back.
Second time was about a week later when my wife was driving to pick me up at the airport. When I got in it was still "frozen in time" from when she left the house -- nav system, clock, etc. Numerous restarts were unsuccessful at unfreezing. Shut down when we got home and screens still did not turn off when the car was shut down. Only after the battery was discharged significantly and did the screens reset
Took to the dealer that morning and they consulted with Mercedes, as there were an extensive number of error codes. Mercedes had not seen this issue before according to the service manager.
They had the car for 18 days and had to do a "head" replacement -- apparently that was the colloquial name of the computer that resides behind the center screen. Delays were involved due to consultation with Mercedes, ordering the part and taking the dash apart and putting it back together -- very extensive. Service manager said it would have been a 5-figure cost had it not been under warranty. No problems since then.

Never buy first year of production
Years ago it was mechanical. Now it seems to be primarily electronic: One has to assume the first year are "BETA": in development.
Never buy the first year of production, and avoid the second if possible. 2025 is the second year of the W214 and there seem to be far more problems (nearly all software) than with the first years of the W213.
Also never buy the first year of a "control system upgrade". I bought a 12 month old 2021 E350 (W213). It was the first year for the new MBUX controls and the hardware (touch press swipe) pads are intermittent. You have to position your finger perfectly or you get a miss or a double select. I've driven newer MB's with MBUX and they do not have this problem.
I'll be staying away from E214 until I see the blog entries on bad SW drop a lot.
