As much as I/we hate potholes, I wish there was a defense against birds and the bombs they drop. I'd pay good money for something like that. 🤣

I heard certain paint colours birds are more attracted to, any truth to that?

That was the joke being told after the 2008 stock market crash --
Q: What's the difference between a pigeon and a Wall Street banker?
A: The pigeon can still make a deposit on a Mercedes.

I've heard that too and blue is what I hear is what they are attracted to most. Something about resemblance to water. I saw a show (may have been myth busters) where they laid out different color tarps in a field to test it. Don't recall the actual results. I'll have to search now.

I see, apparently they say red is a threat to birds as well so they deposit more ...

That explains my "nautical" blue as their target zone 😃

The warning saved me this morning. I got the “Caution Pothole” warning and started looking ahead. About a half a block ahead I came up on three successive round holes in the road that were basically sink holes about nine inches deep and fifteen inches across with sharp edges all around. If not for the warning I probably wouldn’t have seen them. I feel sorry for whoever smacked into them.

It would be really cool if at night the digital lights could project an image to tell you where the pothole is.

New to the forum, here is my first question:
How do you turn off the warnings?
Any help would be appreciated.
