Anyone else notice the LeadStory app in their W214? It showed up for me about two weeks ago and I've never looked at it until now. It appears to be just a video news app that you can customize if you create a "free" account. I say free in quotes because anything that is free is really costing you in some way where you are the product and they make money off collecting whatever data they can on you and selling that to third parties. In any case, I've not signed up for it and it gets terrible reviews online. Wondering if anyone here has tried it and if so, what you think of it? Some pictures below.
I've had Leadstory for probably over a month now and only opened it once. It also creates a more personalized news if you make an account and watch certain articles or have a preference. Other than that, it will also play videos about the article, and is something I can see myself reading up on if I am stuck waiting for my partner and am bored with YouTube.
