How stiff is the new E53 really?

I have not adjusted the tire pressure from when I got it from the dealer.
The issue isn't the grip; it's more the noise than anything else. I'm in NY and the roads are patched up and relatively uneven, esp. the side streets around where I am, that's where the noise and ride quality are a slight factor - again, nothing that would change my mind about the car. Despite the relative increase in noise, I'm very happy with the ride.
