I was chatting with one of my former coworkers at MBUSA earlier about how idiotic the allocation system is in the US. (Seeing some of y'all have cars hitting port having ordered way after a good friend ordered his on the day it was announced, and it's not even allocated yet, is just stupid. They prioritize volume and not customer choice to use a smaller dealer.) I asked him about delays, why the AMG models disappeared from the website, etc. He said he'd ask the product manager. I'll report back anything I can share.
I am thankful we avoid most of this in the EU.

2026 E53 Wagon (Ordered)
Ordered mine late June, supposed to be built mid-Sept, with a mid-Nov delivery. Cirrus silver with black Nappa leather and driver's assistance, no other options of significance.
This will be replacing my current '20 V60 Polestar daily driver. I was thrilled to see another PHEV wagon come to the US market, and jumped at the opportunity....
Looking forward to seeing delivery updates from others. And interested to see what I'm actually paying for this bad boy!

I should have added that the dealer thinks they will have the wagon on 9/10. Let’s see.

I had an early May order date with a with 21st build date and an August 15th arrival into Jacksonville Port date. My eta in system to dealer is 08/25 which never happened.
On a side note here is my build and MSRP. 2021 AMG GT53
Unit is on the water, expected in Jax this week. No ETA at Palm Beach MB store. I have a "sort of" Monroney with only filler figures in the base price ($777,777,777) but with options showing actual figures.

I dug up the EPA emissions docs a while back, so emissions should not be something to worry about delaying the cars

2026 E53 Wagon (Ordered)
While my M3 Touring technically replaced my V60 Polestar, the E 53 was a replacement for my V90. I wanted a performance PHEV. But they are very different creatures. The hybrid system in the E is not as good as Volvo's implementation. My 2023 V60 has the ER drivetrain, but even my 2 prior versions (2020 and 2021) just did it better than the Mercedes. I'm still glad to be in the Mercedes, however, and happy to see you are getting more wagon choices in the US.

MB Fort Lauderdale shows only 1 car allocated to them, which is currently in production and not shipped. MB Jacksonville has nothing in production. Southeast US deliveries use Brunswick, GA, not Jacksonville.

I'm confused. Based on your reply above, I asked my colleague at MBUSA to pull pricing for your car to share here. MB Fort Lauderdale shows only 1 car allocated to them, which is currently in production and not shipped. MB Jacksonville has nothing in production. Southeast US deliveries use Brunswick, GA, not Jacksonville.

Found it. It's a sedan - we were looking for a wagon. Your car is at Brunswick, not Jacksonville. MBUSA shut down the Jacksonville VPC a few years ago. Dropped off by the Oceanus Highway on 9/3.

Thank you for checking on that and my apologies for not clarifying it was a sedan. Since it was dropped off a few days ago, Hopefully it makes its way down to south florida in the next week or two at the most.

I'm at the GLC premiere in Munich and caught up with one of the product managers for the US market. They're "behind" is all he could say. He likely means launch readiness (marketing, press cars, dealer briefings, etc.) He didn't elaborate on why the sedans are still sitting. Hopefully, y'all get your cars soon.

I just got word that my sedan has been tendered to a carrier as of this morning whuch is good news but my dealer did make mention that the vehicle is still not released for launch yet.
