There were 4 engineers traveling in a car when the engine suddenly died.
The electrical engineer said "I'm sure we have a dead battery".
The chemical engineer said "I'm sure we bought some bad gas".
The mechanical engineer said "I'm sure the timing chain broke".
The software engineer said "Everybody get out of the car, count to 10, and then change seats".

I did notice that the new update wiped out some of my custom settings. Hey Mercedes wanted to give me the new user tutorial and I had to reregister my personal profile/face recognition. My sound preferences were set back to default. I also get a different welcome sound when entering the car. I’m seeing a small “km/h” window in the upper right of my driver display as well.

Sounds like your profile got reset or removed which is not something that has happened to me in any of the updates. Certainly a pain to have to redo everything, but not a bad idea either as it allows you to explore more and you may enable/disable something you didn't before. Sometimes a reset is a good thing.
