Another 2025 e53 question
I’m getting a bit frustrated with seat positioning. I have my settings, but after my wife has driven the car I can’t seem to change the seat positioning unless I actually force myself to squeeze in to the car, start it and then hit the memory function. I also tried to use the pre start ac but got a message that my phone wasn’t able to connect with the car. This even tho the car sensed my phone and unlocked when I approached. This is super annoying. Oh, also have the easy exit/entry on. Any advice?

She has her own profile. I did notice that under my wife’s profile the easy entry/exit was not selected, which I have now changed, but that did not seem to fix the issue. Super annoying as my old 2015 Chevy Tahoe had this issue fixed with key fobs for each user.

The new software version E333.8-58 is reported to have the ability to link a profile to a key fob. With that, it should move the seat to the stored setting for the profile associated with the key fob that unlocked the door. Could still be a problem if two people approach the car with their own key fob.
If you don't have that version, you could use the guest profile and adjust the seat the way you like it. Then store that in memory 1. Then when you unlock the car it may move to that setting since no profile has been selected or you may be able to hit the memory 1 to move it. I say "may" because I have not tried this myself. My wife has only driven the car twice and I am the only driver 99% of the time.

Thanks. I will work on your suggestion. I’m just beyond surprised that with a list of functions and features that these cars have, something as basic as this is such a struggle

The other day I had to move my seat way forward to find something I dropped on the floor. After that, I just hit the memory button and the seat went back to how I like it. So the memory buttons may help you there.
