Mercedes Me Personalization and Valet Protect not active
Anyone else noticing that Personalization and Valet Protect are no longer active in the Mercedes Me app? I noticed this a couple weeks ago and thought maybe it was because I deleted and recreated my profile or because I reset MBUX in an attempt to fix my USB music issue. I figured it may take some time to reenable all the extras. Initially, there was a purchase link in the Mercedes Me app but that just went to a web page saying to download the app and just went in circles. Now, there is no purchase link and tapping on the extra just shows a description with no actionable items. Anyone else seeing this?

Valet Protect has been discontinued. It was posted a while ago. It remains active for existing subscriptions, but won't renew the next time the subscription is up for renewal. The reason they stated is due to the overlap in functionality with Geofencing. Personalization I've read in the past is also being discontinued. Initially I read it was only getting discontinued for NTG 5.5, but I still have it currently, although my subscription is about to expire and I'm going to let it run out this time. Personalization has never worked right for me and I have a suspicion that it is messing with some of my settings, so I'm gonna let the subscription run out, then remove the car from my account and add it back before renewing it. I'm also doing this because of the subscription changes over the years, not all of my services had the same expiration date, so I'm trying to realign everything to the same 12 months cycle.
Thanks superswiss, that makes sense. My subscription renewed on Aug 28th and it must have removed them. I wonder why they still list in the app if not available any longer. If I login on the web page, both do not show up there. It's only on the mobile app.
Same with me that these features expired when my subscription renewed at end of July 2025. MB stated these features causing other issues in our autos.

Just checked, and even though Personalization and Valet show-you cannot turn on or off in the APP. Anyone else with any thoughts as MB had informed me a few weeks ago, that these two features were not available after Renewal.
