I can't find this on search. When I leave my dog in the car and lock it the motion sensor triggers the car alarm after 2 minutes.
How do I turn off the motion sensor or disable the alarm when locking?

Going off memory here: there is a button with a picture of a car outline on it under the center dash screen that brings up a list of shortcuts for things to turn on/off. Believe there is one for interior alarm.

FWIW, the dealer didn't know and said the car would have to be recoded..

Yes and the interior motion can also be controlled via the app. Under the security and safety vehicle alarm menu.
