W211 E55 Kleemann Exhaust- Brand new
I bought these set of Kleemann Mufflers directly from Kleemann thinking that they would fit on a e63 but found out they dont.
Cory @ Kleemann states that they will fit E55 and has be done before.
The mufflers are suppose to go with the Kleeman rear valence found in pics below but does not have to.
Some modifications are needed for e55 amg bumpers,
Mufflers will fit nicely with non amg bumpers and little modifications are needed to make work-
Exhaust is brand new and reasy to be shipped.
I fired up the exhaust and it sounds great- This is a great alterantive for those with W211 that want a deeper and louder exhaust.
Kleemann moto is "comfort power" so they are not too loud
Price is set at 650 plus shipping
retail is 1930 for the set
They will go ebay on MOmday for 900 plus shipping

Ive got an E55 and am possibly interested. How did you manage to "fire up the exhaust"? Are these a bolt-on application or must they be welded?
What type of mods are needed for the E55 -- do you have to modify the exhaust or the bumper.
Any contact info available for Cory at Kleemann?

I realize now that these are the sport mufflers designed for the non-aspirated W211's. I am looking for a used exhaust system for the E55......Good luck with your sale.

I dont really understand your post, these are the mufflers that you need to weld on to your stock exhaust system-
Im guessing that you dont have a e55

exhaust
and how do you know how much i paid- did cory tell you? Cory told me a bunch of things that were different than what he told you. what i really should do is return the exhaust back to Kleemann and back charge them. Obviously what he told me was incorrect. time and bs install cost for no reason cost money also.
I offred the exhaust to mb peeps for no profit in my hands. Like I said before, when i have minute I will list them on ebay for a profit.
so, either way, the exhaust is still a bargain- let me know if you find another system for a e55 at that price and i will buy a set for myself

What Cory explained to me is that the mufflers were taken off of a full Kleeman exhaust system because the client who purchased the exhaust systemm wanted to use his stock mufflers to keep the noise down. He also clarified that the modifications required would be so that the Kleeman exhaust tips would line up with the openings in the AMG bumper....so its all good. I now understand why you only have the Kleemann mufflers for the E55 and not the full exhaust. My statement asking why you were selling them for $650 if you only paid $500 was based on your quote above in the 5th post. I sent you a PM about an offer to buy the mufflers, let me know what you think.

exhaust
I paid 500 plus shipping, install of exhaust twice, had my exhaust system hacked twice to find out it didn't fit my car plus the day off I took.
Not trying to make money on the deal but just get what I put out.
I repsonded to your pm- Cant do anything less than 650 plus shipping. I am for sure not losing money on the deal
Not in a hurry to sell it and I know how much the exhaust cost. Kleemann does sell the mufflers by themselves for 1980 for the pair. I have been looking for a muffler for under 1500 and can't find anything. I wish these worked on my car as I am still in search for a muffler.
let me know-
