I just bought this exhaust from another member, but i dont have the time to put it on.

it is two straight through magnaflow mufflers with quad round tips. All nesesary hangars are installed and pipes that lead to the stock exhaust are welded on, in other words it looks like a magnaflow exhaust build for the e class...

How big are the Tips on there? which model Magnaflow Tips are they?

 

Sorry I cannot help out with the sound, if you go on YouTube there is a clk500 with a magnaflow exhaust and it will give you and idea of how it would sound....

The tips are 2.5" round tips, I'm not sure if they are from magnaflow, I bought the exhaust with it....

anyway this will fit a w209 clk 500?

 

i'm sure a shop can make it fit...

 

i understand a shop can make it fit probably but i dont want to pay an arm and a leg for this thing to fit on my car. Anybody care to chime in? I dont know much and would appreciate if someone can assure that this will fit my w209 with little modification.

so i will probably need to runa Y-pipe for this thing? Is the size of this exhaust same as the size of my stock exhaust? I am talking about that big bulky part.

 

This more than likely won't fit. Your best bet is to get a single muffler dual out and run a pipe around your spare tire well, otherwise you'll need to take your spare tire hub out and run two muffler (expensive). Just listen to the other ppl that have done it in the W209 section. The magnaflows and tips are cheap enough, just get a reputable shop to do the work.
