FS: Meisterschaft Titanium exhaust for ML63 AMG
I am helping sell this exhaust for my father who is forum illiterate. He recently purchased a 2008 ML63 AMG from a dealer in Texas. The vehicle had 11k miles on it (less that half of which are on the exhaust from what I understand). He and the wife thought it was too loud (I disagree of course) and put the stock exhaust back on and are now looking to unload this exhaust. They live in Minnesota, and I live in Michigan so I have not seen the exhaust in person. All I have is the photos he has sent me so please forgive me if I don't know the ins and outs of this exhaust.
I will do my best to answer any questions their might be. I am an avid member on the BMW m3 forums (sorry!) so I know this is a very reputable brand. For the M3 there are various version (race, sport, etc.) so if anyone can help by letting me know what version this is (?).
Here are the pics that I have. Please feel free to ask any questions.
New price was $3200, looking to get $2200 but will entertain any reasonable offer. Thanks for looking!

So by looking @ the pics and comparing it gthaus.com's site, I believe this is a full titanium exhaust w/ and original price of around $5k.

Yes it does fit the base ML. I called GThaus and they said the exhaust WILL fit your vehicle. However since the AMG has quad tips your rear valance will need to be changed out to an AMG valance or you can modify yours.

Called Autohaus....
The canister location and layout all fit the same as the ML. Only problem is the connection will require a little welding since the it won't bolt on the pipes "perfectly".
While they say this is normal and people do it all the time, the exhaust is made from titanium while your center section on your exhaust is made from steel and the two metals are difficult to weld. You would need to take it to a shop that can do that.
If that is not an issue to you, they said it will fit. Let me know your thoughts and if you have any other questions!

Ran your proposal by the old man... He. Can't accept anything less than $2k plus shipping. Unfortunately the wife didn't like the exhaust (too loud) so they put OEM on at a cost of $3k!!! That is his reasoning for not letting it go cheaper. If that works, let me know. Otherwise I appreciate the offer!
