POSI Unit from a P030 Differential fits E55, E63, CLS55, CLS63, SL55, SL63

Hi, I have a POSI unit out of a 08 CLS63 that had the factory P030 option for sale. Worked fine when pulled out of the car and has 25K miles on it. Car is completely stock. Fits most if not all car with a 215mm ring gear including all 211 AMG's and most if not all 219 and 230 AMG's. Please verify it fit's your car or contact me and I will check for you. I'm asking 500 shipped or OBO. Payment through Paypal ebay@brackney.net Thanks for looking, Adam.

SL65
Bump for a great diff at a great price. If I had a 215mm diff I'd be all over this. I just took my 03 SL55's rear all apart to find out it is a 10 bolt 210mm gear (have heard thats the case with 03-04 SL's only, all 03+ E55's should all have the 215).

May I ask why you took this out of your car? I strongly prefer the way a clutch diff behaves over a Torsen. Going to a Quaife from this would be a downgrade imho.

The main downside I see with the clutches is they won't handle the kind of power the Torsen units can. I built the P030 case out with a Quaife and new gears/bearings. The unit didn't come out of my car, so now I have a diff for the street and one for the mile

I guess I will re-phrase this... Anyone chime in to the strength of these? Particularly on a mod'd E55. I like clutch pack LSDs, but at the same time would rather not blow it up 6 months from now.

04 should be OK, best bet is to pop off cover and count bolts on diff. Think only early 03 E55s had the 10 bolts.
