My throttle bodies came with the plug, so I don't know why you would have to swap anything.

If your 82mm tbs come with the wire harness the no worries to buy that

What makes them valuable is having a matching snout and y pipe. If you can hook me up with a snout then I'd be interested.

You were complaining that no one was interested at your price, which you thought was way lower than anyone else had listed on this board and couldn't figure out why no one was buying yours. I was simply trying to show you that your price for a TB only might be a bit on the high side since there are simple and easy ways to get them elsewhere for way less. There were 3 others that sold for $180 buy it now and another that sold buy it now for $190. They all claim 'low mileage' (whatever that means). Ones with snouts on the board typically go for $700-$800 as of recently, which is why I said the value comes when you include a snout.
You are correct that there is no way in hell I'm interested in your TB at your current price, which is $45-$75 more (25%-42% more) than what low mileage ones have sold on ebay for recently. I was just trying to help you get some stuff sold dude. Get a snout and you'll most likely get $700-$800 out of em from someone, which is likely going to net you way more money than trying to just sell the TB by themselves, which people can get way cheaper elsewhere. People pay a premium for stuff that is ready to bolt on, not for stuff that a simple ebay search can show the exact same thing for 25%-42% less.
Now am I a buyer at $700 with a snout? Probably not, but that's only because I know I can get mine modified for less than $520. If you were to offer a package deal for less than the going rate (which you probably aren't) for a TB & snout I might be interested. TB isn't at the top of my list right now, so that's why I didn't bid on the one at $150 or even 'buy it now' one of the ones at $180 or $190. B/c it isn't a priority I'm in no rush to get anything that isn't selling for a good price and ready to bolt on. Others might be, though, which is why I made the suggestion I did.

right.... "low mileage"... they don't even claim to know the mileage, nor even the model that they came from. I have full vin and mileage with my parts. Considering an unmodified snout is nearly $500 alone, I don't really see how youre going to buy one and modify it for "less than $520," but I cant argue with an internet dreamer.
All of these points don't really matter though, because, as you said yourself, you aren't even a buyer for a bolt-on combo throttle body with ported snout at $700, so youre just ridiculous and arguing with you would be completely insane.

Reducing my price on behalf of the non-buying, non-interested, non-priority guy that had to give his $0.02 in this for sale thread...

The smaller ones that are stock on an E55 (which can still be modified to work with an 82mm, but take some more work) are only $302 retail & $226.50 online

I dunno what you paid for the snout you had, but if you think a stock snout is $500 you likely way overpaid & I understand now why you probably think everything should be so high in price.
I was just trying to let you know what a realistic price is for these things b/c you were questioning why they hadn't sold and give you a suggestion of a way that you could probably get more out of it (aka: adding a snout). I was also seeing if you'd be willing to sell it for less than what anyone can buy them for on ebay, which you apparently aren't (I was interested & would have bought if that was the case). If a machine shop charges you $520 to modify a snout, then you're certainly getting taken of advantage of there too. Heck even if you pay $226.50 or $337.50 for one and then get that one modified a machine shop is still charging a pretty steep penny at $200-$300 to do the necessary modifications (assuming you can't do them yourself)
Your pricing has become a bit more competitive, but b/c you weren't willing to sell to me for a reasonable price I bought one on ebay just now for $145 with 48,000 miles and the vin, which is probably more along the lines of what you should be asking if you're not wanting to sit on them for awhile. These aren't nearly as valuable as they once were since every 550 model came with them (GL, SL, E, R, CLS, etc.) & more & more of those models are now showing up in the junkyard.
Good luck with sale & hopefully you find someone that needs one now & is willing to pay a premium to have one now.

Have you put in your credit card info and bought from them before?Figures you would find the cheapest, possibly scam, site on the internet to reference pricing. Why haven't you ordered a snout from them at $325 yet?....

The 3 main places people buy are:
parts.com- snout is $337.50 (plus they add 15% & a $2 handling fee. They have the prettiest looking website & carry other brands, but you pay a crapload more)
mymercedesparts.com (they are a mercedes dealer in atlanta & they add 7% for shipping. Their website is being redone right now, but you can still order from them by phone)
oediscountparts.com (free shipping over $50 & they are skylane mercedes in Asheville, NC. If you had actually looked at the website instead of being a sarcastic dick you would have known that)
Oediscountparts is cheapest on most, but not everything. They are more for front rotors, for instance, so I bought those from mymercedesparts.com instead. It is mostly bigger/heavier stuff where they cost more. If I decide to go the modify an 80mm route instead of modify the 74 that's on the car, then I will certainly buy from them. Hopefully this tip saves you some money on buying parts in the future, unless of course you enjoy paying more to use a nicer looking website then continue what you have been doing.
Regardless, you had to have known that a snout is not $500 by itself. You friggen posted in a thread earlier this month (which I had posted in too) that in multiple posts stated that a snout is less than $500.
https://mbworld.org/forums/w211-amg/...80mm-82mm.html
It also states in the thread where you can get a BRAND NEW 82mm for $300 that merely requires the movement of 2 pins (& if you're competent enough to remove the supercharger to do a TB upgrade, you're competent enough to swap 2 pins)
I'm not sure where you bought your snout on 4/10/15, but if you paid more than MSRP of $450 (which would be the only way you could in good faith say "Considering an unmodified snout is nearly $500 alone") you got ripped off. That or you were lying saying they were that price when you damn well likely got yours for less than "nearly $500." All you have to do is google the part # 1131400912 & plenty of other sites come up selling it for substantially less than "nearly $500 alone"
$359: http://www.ecstuning.com/ES1637725/
$363.15: http://www.mbpartsworld.com/p/__/PIP...131400912.html
$360: http://www.benzpartswholesale.com/OE...131400912.html
You are either a poor shopper/don't know about google.com or a liar saying "it is nearly $500"
What am I missing here? why is fabtech selling a 82mm upgrade for $1799 and you guys are saying one can build it for 700-800 range. I am just trying to understand the 1000K difference. any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Just about everything on fabtech's website (injectors, intercooler, beltwrap kit, pulleys, etc.) can be had for way less other places that is the exact same part...
