You're kidding, right?

You bought a performance car with over 300 HP, and an extra 30 HP is too aggressive?

You meant to say NOT aggressive enough for your taste, right?

L O L... OP must have accidentally type "too" instead of "not" I have the unit and it only marginally improves the performance. I like it, but I wish Dinan makes another unit with fuel/timing/remaps etc... I like the fact that their unit is plug and play and I am not sending off my ECU.

I've got one for sale also. Not gonna step on the OPs toes but if his goes and someone is interested in mine holla at me. Was used for less than a week, purchased directly from Dinan, has original packaging and is also $250 shipped.

I simply wanted larger gains and chose to go with the AMR tune instead.

362HP to be exact. (GLC43)Wife didn't like it. Too responsive for her. So it's was always in stock mode via the APP. therefor I removed it and have the car stock.

AMR. It was $1500 more though but worth it for me. The Dinan unit is really simple and quick to install and does add boost but can't be compared to a ECU flash. It's all a matter of preference.

two totally different products and tuning concepts. the AMR flash will generate much more power /torque than the Dinan sport unit which it should. Its also over 5X the cost. Once Dinan releases their Elite tuner with their warranty, I suspect the power numbers will be much more comparable and pricing will be similar to AMR flash as well.

Sport is just a way to add a bit more power to make everyday driving a little more spirited at a low cost. It does that function very well. I call it the "gateway drug"

I am not surprised that your wife didn't like it. I thought you took the tune off of a C43 coupe or sedan. If you are using the GLC43 for grocery getting and other leisure activities, then I think the GLC43 has more than enough power and responsiveness in stock form. Even my wife asked me why am I modding the GLC43 because she thinks it's pretty fast (and it is faster than her car and my 13 c350 i traded in).

The Dinanatronics does wake up the GLC43 and makes it very responsive in all modes. Though its only a boost controller, you definitely feel the power delivery in Race Mode with any dynamic selection.

I was on the Dinancar site and by browsing other vehicle makes like the BMW 340i/440i it looks like the "Performance" tuner vs "Sport" will add a good amount of HP and TQ. If they can get power levels like the Vivid Racing Piggy-Back tuner at the cost of $1300, I will definitely buy the unit. I still favor/value Plug and Play w/ Dinan Warranty over sending off my ECU. I doubt I will be dragging or racing the GLC on a track.
