No heated seats unless I'm reading this wrong! (I ordered the heated/ventilated).

Either of these are deal killers. I don't want to have to fight them to get my $5k back but this isn't acceptable.
Yup, it looks messed up quite royally and personally I would not accept this car considering those are deal killers. It sucks to wait this long and then have it blow up.

The ventilated seats are a known issue, but somewhere between the dealer and the factory the ball was dropped and the regular heated seat option was not substituted.

I'm not familiar with CO law, but with two major options not installed as ordered, I don't see why there would be any issue getting the $5K returned.

They were able to change the order and I have a new build sheet that now reflects the correct options. Not sure why DAP Lite appears to have been added a la carte but the key parts are there, heated seats included.

So just two confirm what's going on, the data card you uploaded was for an order (and not a built car) or did they have to create a new order for you to build another car to your spec?

I don't know if they had to redo the order, but my original build date was/is 4/18/23 so still not built in any case.

That's great news that the issues were caught prior to production. One more example of why it pays to stay on top of things.

Ship date and ETA to port

Cadetdrvr and others have info on Data Cards. I haven’t bothered yet.

I am going to reach out to sales soon and ask about data cards, MSRP and eta to dealership.

Mine is ETA Baltimore VPC on 2/25

Ordered mine Feb 1 and got allocation Feb 28. Scheduled for 2nd decade June build. Based on what I was told, this seems to be about the same time from allocation to build as yours. I was also told a minimum of two months from build and possibly 3. My SA said the ships used to depart every 10 days or so but they do not sail unless full. With less production and slower shipment to port, it has slipped to at least every two weeks. Again, it is the info that one SA has and I know he gave me info that his management told him. How accurate? Who knows? And how predictive of the future? I wouldn't bet on it. As we see from anecdotal reports and tracking dealer inventory, cars are coming through. Seems just a few at a time and I dare say most already sold. The question is whether we will get everything we ordered so have to start thinking in terms of deal breakers.

After it's built just make sure to get a data card from your dealer which shows the options and total MSRP. You don't want to wait several months for delivery only to find out there are deal breakers.

I am fortunate to be working with a dealer is completely on top of getting me data cards as well as Netstar updates. Very confidence-inspiring.

** Update- car arrived this week and I got on Saturday 5/13 to pick it up. Already got some pics from the dealer. Built exactly how I wanted.

FWIW, my fixed-build 2023 EQB 350 was delivered by May, so pretty quick from Hungary to my dealer. And it's really a bit small for what I need. Thus I just listed it here, in case anyone covets it for a decent discount from MSRP even though it's basically brand new:

Heard from dealer today that my build is scheduled the end of the week beginning Mon 6/5. Netstar showed that as of 5/19/23 build was locked as ordered. That also reflected the change on 4/6/23 from DA Lite to the full DA package. Hopefully no last minute surprises. After that 4-6 weeks to Baltimore VPC depending upon when it arrives in Bremerhaven relative to the next ship. Strange that the build sheet bills for the DA package twice but he assured me that the extra $1700 will come off when invoice and price sticker are printed.

First thing I'm going to do is pop the hood and see if the left-hand coolant reservoir has the red cap. If not, I'll note it on delivery sheet.

It typically should. Mine is a Nov 2022 build which I took delivery in Mar and it came with with the red cover installed on the coolant reservoir.

Build complete 6/9/23 and awaiting shipment. All options as ordered and no deletions from standard equipment.

My EQB is on ship scheduled to dock Baltimore 7/2/23. That's faster than anticipated. Ordered 2/1/23. Received allocation and PO 2/28/23. Built 6/9/23 and loaded on ship 6/20/23

Still need to resolve the issue of the DA2 Driver Assistance Package charging twice on the build sheet. Rep figures it was a system glitch and probably will be corrected when sticker is printed at VPC. Otherwise, he'll get the GM to figure it out with Mercedes. But definitely know that we are getting everything we ordered and there were no deletions of standard or optional equipment. Even got the dashcam which showed on the DOG when we ordered but did not show on the DOG as of 4/6/23

My EQB arrived at Baltimore VPC on July 6 and appears based on dealer on line inventory listing to be either at the store or on truck from Baltimore to NY so should have it next week.

Based upon final config, I did not get full Driver Assistance Package, rather it is coming with the Lite Package. I had requested a change after the 4/6 DOG listed it as a possibility and in fact they were no longer taking orders for the Lite after 4/6. The build sheet even as recent as its June 9 build date still showed full Driver Assistance.

A bit perturbed since I really wanted the added safety Pre Safe features which I've had on my GLC and GLE. Don't want to re-order the car and don't want to spend another $20K for EQE SUV. Will express my displeasure and hopefully that might be able to garner a discount.

Pics to come whenever I get it unless we have a serious change of heart and decide not to take it.

Picking up car tomorrow. Dealer tells me that it was showing the full driver assistance package until the car physically invoiced at the VPC. He also tracked other cars that were to be equipped with full package. Seems the same thing happened. So very likely Mercedes was just not building it and in true Mercedes style never told anyone. Meanwhile the good news is that the Mercedes club fleet discount on EQB increased from $1500 to $2500 for July and there was a slight drop in the MF. Pics coming once I have the car!

This is a build question, so thought I'd add here instead of making a new thread. My 2022 EQB 300 had LED Logo Projectors (option D16) on the build for $275. I noticed yesterday that there are no puddle lights projecting down from the mirrors. Upon looking under the mirror, there is just a plastic blank and no electronics, unlike our EQS or the EQE loaner I currently have in my garage. Can anyone verify that a EQB 300 should indeed have puddle lights and a downward projector on the side mirrors? I think it may have been forgotten at the factory.

I believe the Logo Projectors on the EQB are on the front doors only. The plastic blank below the side mirrors are likely for the 360 camera system.

Yah, just went out and looked, and compared the EQB to the EQE parked next to it. Where the projector is on the EQE is on the inside of the mirror, and the EQB has a blank in the same spot. Does anyone have a projector on their EQB side mirrors for puddle lights?
