Yes, that's exactly what it means as power seats are standard in the USA.

Not a dumb question about the power seats. The 2022 EQB's I've seen locally all had manually adjustable seats with a credit of a few hundred dollars on the sticker for the missing standard power/memory feature. I've been assured by my dealer rep that my 2023 at the Baltimore VPC has the power seats, though.

Yea that was my worry too... I do not want any manually adjustable seats... Also, is your car just sitting in Baltimore for no reason?

FWIW, as soon as the vehicle is assembled, the data card will show the exact configuration "as built" that can be compared to "as ordered."

Previously, this was a non-issue except under unusual circumstances and typically MB would attempt to restrict option availability to prevent issues before they would occur. But stuff happens, and during the microchip shortage MB intentionally built many 2022 EQBs without power seats as that was the "least bad" thing to omit as the chips involved had multiple uses.

For potential buyers of 2023 models the chip shortages have been mostly resolved, but there are potentially new threats to the supply chain this winter as forecast energy shortages across Europe may affect suppliers, and suppliers to suppliers, in different ways as a result of the current war.

The takeaway is there nobody waiting for a vehicle, at least here in the USA, that will not know months in advance the equipment installed on the vehicle.

There are no credits listed on your order so that's good!

EQB 300 and 350's have not been released yet by MB.

Congratulations - that will be nice. If you don’t have kids dump the third row. I dumped it bc it’s for 54”and below.

Check for the net to ceiling

I am replacing my beloved e350 wagon with the EQB. The wagon had that cool net to ceiling feature. You might want to check if the netting for the rear of the EQB is available and do that instead of third row .

Just heard today 12/21/22 that my vehicle is in production and looking at April 2023 delivery.

Update for the thread. Our car was finally delivered to the dealer but of course we are traveling and won’t be able to pick it up until mid-month.

At least they will have plenty of time to wash and charge it.

FWIW, the latest data card still shows it was built exactly as ordered without missing equipment.

Curious. How soon after order did you get actual allocation from your dealer?

So we ordered 11/6/22, 12/06 it was still in request mode, 12/21 it was "in production". Got word today it was out of production. ETA went from April-June, to April, to Mid/End of March. Not sure when my dealer got allocation exactly.

Thank you. So the moral of the story here is Netstar reports that the dealer pulls may not be 100% accurate and production dates are going to be all over the place. Just ordered mine 2 weeks ago and still in request mode. This will be the 3rd Mercedes I've bought from this dealer and they will be absolutely straight with me about info they get from MB. Takes the fun out car buying when you've had a decade relationship with a dealer and rep, get greeted by the owner and don't have to play back-and-forth games with a closer hovering over your shoulder. Looking forward to hearing your real world reports!

EQB 350
Exclamation

Got my EQB 350 build sheet (June 2022 order, M-B of Denver). They seem to have messed it up quite royally:

No Driver Assistance Package Lite. I confirmed against a photo of their ordering system screen that we had indeed picked this, as I would have for the adaptive cruise alone.
No heated seats unless I'm reading this wrong! (I ordered the heated/ventilated).

Either of these are deal killers. I don't want to have to fight them to get my $5k back but this isn't acceptable.
