How can I tell if my MBUX supports video playback off USB.
I’ve read on beee about codes 548 and 549 but I’m not sure how to check that.
I have an EQB 350 AMG Line
I took delivery beginning of September and I know there are a few things that usually would be on the spec but aren’t due to component shortages but it’s all a bit confusing and overwhelming to get into.
I’ve largely been a VW person before now

MBUX uses a variety of Nvidia SOC's (system on chip) for hardware, and option code 548 is the typical baseline hardware installed since mid-2019. Meanwhile, 549 uses a higher powered SOC and is always installed when the car is equipped with the Augmented Video for Navigation (U19) option, although occasionally vehicles will be upgraded with 549---presumably for production purposes. Here in the USA, for example, the upgraded hardware is included with the Technology Package.
Of interest, only 549 supports video playback and full screen NAV on the driver's side.
You can determine which hardware you have installed by looking at the data card for the vehicle (provided by dealer), checking if full screen NAV is selectable on the driver's side, or by looking up the VIN online (example: mb.vin)
As an example, here's part of the data card from our EQB:
