Previous generation(s) of MB platforms occasionally had some cool stuff that one could unlock in software without too much drama, including video in motion, but for the most part things are now either locked down or require aftermarket hardware. You'll find some folks are able to upgrade OEM hardware on current generation MBs and properly code for the vehicle using MB's Xentry software, but that's a different can of worms than simply unlocking features in software. Note that even the 'secret' dealer and engineering menus offer extremely limited customization compared to previous NTG versions.
If you want to explore this further, the EQB uses the widespread MBUX NTG6 system so mods for designed for MBUX NTG6 should, in theory, work on the EQB.
For background, current EQBs are loaded with MBUX FUP4 (feature update 4) and system version ntg6/81. As the name implies, there have been quasi-annual feature updates since NTG6 was released. These have typically been released first to the factory, then dealers, and then finally OTA. Based on the calendar, we are due for FUP5 if such a thing exists...which it just might, as my fingers are crossed that the update recently shipped with 2023 A-class (a close sibling of the EQB) will make its way to the EQB as it enables both full-screen and wireless CarPlay (and presumably Android Auto).

I have the Chinese copy Xentry/DAS etc and have been able to do limited changes on my older models but nothing on the EQB. Even BMWs are not as customizable using eSys as before. I can still change things like seatbelt buzzers, turn off speedlocks and legal disclaimers etc but not like before. So far I am enjoying the EQB a lot though. The only thing I wish it had was true single pedal driving. The regen can be adjusted which is nice but once the car slows down to 4-5 mph, there is no regen at all and you need to use the brake pedal to come to a full stop. I've been driving electric cars since 2015 so this is a bit annoying. Otherwise I'm very impressed with the car.
