EQE SUV Section?

- the preliminary Canadian Order Guide also has them the same
- the UK and France web sites show a mix of battery sizes
The final US and Canadian Order Guides should settle this discrepancy. Here's hoping.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
The order guide did indicate that the EPA range testing for the 350 4M was conducted with all-season tires, while the 500 4M was using summer tires (range-optimized), so this likely explains why the 500 4M has more range despite having nearly the same battery capacity and using more powerful motors than the 350 4M.
Was set on getting the 350 thinking it would have better range. But that's not the case, plus need to spend extra for tires as 19" only comes with Summer tires.
500 has Leather, AMG trim and rear axle steering standard. So you are basically paying C$2,600 for the increase in power - much better value than US$1,200 PER YEAR software unlock power boost.
Damn that luxury tax as it makes every extra so much more expensive.
I love features and would like everything, but he value of the rear axle steering is questionable on this size car used a typical North American city with wide roads. Yes it is possibly helpful on the larger wheelbase EQS.
Do some research on leather vs animal friendly MBUX. The results might be surprising.

IMHO rear wheel steering is the answer to curb rash and the best reason to get the 500. Makes maneuvering around parking lots and drive-through windows so much easier. If you want HP just get a Kia EV6 GT and save yourself $40K.

hi
i am looking to purchase a 350 EQE SUV 4WD and although the range is estimated to be around 260 I was curious what the real works range is. I have noticed that some people talk about the range shown on their GOM (guess o meter) I was curious as to the miles per KW. For example I have a Mustang Mach E- battery capacity is 91 and the range I get is between 3.0 and 3.4 depending on usual factors so I can get anywhere from 270-315 miles on a full charge.
and is the GOM accurate?
the dealer told me the range shown in ads is at 80% but I don’t buy that, on the other hand I see people mention they are getting around 300 miles on a full charge.
any feedback would be helpful
thanks

My dad's EQE SUV also greatly exceeds it's EPA rating, which is around 259 miles, I believe. It's a 350X4. I think those cars have a slightly smaller battery in SUV form. It's still easily capable of exceeding 300 miles on a charge. Hope that helps!

I drive from NY to cape cod , about 250 miles and when in Florida from Boca Raton to Tampa also about 250 several times a year. The 300 range gives me the ability if needed to make the trips without charging, depending on weather etc.
i am also looking at the IX 50, range is easily 300 but looks are so- so and I didn't love the screen although it has gotten excellent reviews.
when on the highway I generally travel around 67 mph to get maximum range.
much appreciated
