So we are going to have a very short 2024 Model Year run? Only 6 months?
Not much change from 2025 on paper, only center airbag and soft close doors.
No change in battery size.

I'm surprisd the AMG isn't getting the big battery or a few other small changes for 2025.

I have the 2024 AMG EQE SUV. What would you like to change? The center airbag is wierd (driver only?). My experience over 5 months is that the range is much more than the 235 miles EPA rating. I regularly see 300 miles on the range display. The vehicle drives like my previous E63S wagon which is really saying a lot. The only thing that would have been nice is the inclusion of the Multicontour Seats. There is a enhanced experience setting for the Sport seats, but that’s not the same thing.

Hyperscreen standard on the 500 SUV now. Yacht wood dash in mine is high class looking but I do prefer the widescreen format for the center/infotainment screen. I don't web surf in my car, well, on the car's screen anyways, so a vertical table mode seems unnecessary and rotating screens like in the Fisker Ocean are just something that'll be impossible to fix once it breaks... but anywhosies.

I'm not buying anything without a NACS port though. I can wait for Supercharger access but would be dumb to buy a 2025 with a CCS port. That'd be like buying a new smartphone with a micro USB connector instead of USB-C.

If you can wait for a year for your next car, sure; as we won't see one with NACS until sometime next year. Maybe 2026 Model Year?

2025 Ford EVs and 2025 Rivians are supposed to have NACS and I should be able to buy one by end of this year. But yeah, I guess I could wait a whole extra year for MB to catch up. Pity all those million dollar executives couldn't make it happen just a little bit faster though.

I noticed the AMG order guide lists "Preinstallation for Digital Vehicle Key" under new equipment, but the standard guide does not.

Hopefully this is just an error, there is no reason this should be AMG-specific as almost all competitors in this segment already offer phone-as-a-key options today.

I think all 2024 vehicles have the phone-as-key integration.

Oh thanks, I was going off the MB website that said only 2024 Maybach EQS and E-Class models support digital key but maybe they have not kept that up to date.

Any US users have media to share of this system in action? The videos I have seen so far have all been in Europe.

Another change I noticed: the 2 years of complimentary charging with Electrify America is no longer listed, could be that Mercedes is phasing out this perk after MY 2024.

All new EQs now have 1 or 2 years of free charging on the MBHPC network. The number of them is growing rapidly. Also, I bet Ionna fits in there somewhere soon.
