Brake Job Interval?
Hi folks. I'm taking delivery of a new 350 EQE SUV next month and was looking at the maintenance schedule on the MB website. It doesn't show anything at an interval longer than 20K miles, and there's nothing shown for brakes aside from fluid change. Does anyone know what I should expect with regards to brake replacement intervals? I know it's a new model and most people won't have done this yet, but maybe someone has some equivalent experience.

I have never seen a manufacturer list mileage of when to replace brakes pads etc.
MB has a sensor that will warn you on dash your pads need changing which is way more than most other manufacturers provide which tends to be a clip that squeals.
SO drive it until sensor goes off or when you get any work done with a wheel off have pad thickness inspected.

Unless you ride the brakes very hard, it's unlikely you'll have to replace the brakes before 100k miles if not 200k or later. Maximize regen, and brakes may last the life of the car. All you need is fluid changes every 2 years as the fluid is hygroscopic. Every 20k miles just in case. I'm sure they'll check pad and rotor thickness during the service interval and give you plenty of notice.

Brake pad and rotor wear are mostly dependent on driving habits and frequency of use, not mileage or elapsed time. Best guess is your experience with other cars, unless you adopt a more aggressive driving style with your new MB.
