Wiper skipping / chatter
I am having some wiper chatter / skipping (making noise too) toward the 'end' of travel. Googled the web and looks like not just the EQE SUV, but many other mercedes owners are having similar issue. Any of you having the same ? What replacement wipers (I would assume aftermkt) would eliminate such?

Have had the same experience. Mine just stopped doing it after a while. My sedan just had it's wipers replaced for the 20k mile service, I'll have to see if the new blades do it as well.

Instead of replacing the blades try using a glass cleaner that removes any coating or oil from the windshield that cause the skipping. A product like Glaco Glass Compound Roll On or Invisible Glass Stripper.

My vehicle didn't get any ceramic coating on the windshield, no coating of any applied. never used windshield washer fluid (yes never)...the wipers have been 'chattering' / 'skipping' since day 1 (again towrds the end / top of the movement when the chattering occurs). Was told by the dealer that MB took out some 'ingredients' used when making the plastic wiper blades to make them more environmental friendly which results in the chattering... (not sure ...but that can probably explain why the chattering happens across the board in various models)

I have Bosch AeroTwin as recommended by other members on here complaining about wiper skip /chatter. It worked for me and the others:

I'm still using the original wipers that came with my EQE SUV from a year and a half ago. I put Rain-X in my washer fluid too. No skipping or noises here.
