Software update: E330.602 -> E504.304

2024 AMG EQE SUV , 2021 E63S Wagon - gone, 2018 E63S Sedan - gone
Software update: E330.602 -> E504.304
I had my dealer update my MBUX software to E504.304 from E330.602 today.
The following changes were observed:
1. Additional digital extra: "Shared Navigation"
2. Additional interfaces to connect my mobile phone to the MBUX system
3. HUD navigation window update: A yellow line now indicates the presence of a highway/interstate in the proximity of travel
4. Additional streaming controls (may have been there before, but un-noticed)
5. Minor main interface updates and icons
6. Updated inside/outside sounds
Things that did not change:
1. Blue route navigation line still is blue/cyan on the driver's screen.
2. Dashcam media still getting confused between media and dashcam

1. The blue route navigation line is blue/cyan in BOTH the driver's display and the HUD
2. DSR now works when No Recuperation is selected
3. Additional icons on the center and driver display map
4. Improved responsiveness of the settings interface
5. Route turning icon on HUD with street name and lane selection (I have AR-enabled)

I would be ecstatic if this was available via OTA as taking it to the dealer is not a pleasant experience. Still waiting for the recall notice for the fuse box. Plan to push for the MBUX update to be done at the same time.

I did find in the MMe phone app where I can share a location, but not a "live" location. Perhaps I am misunderstanding...

Are you able to follow/favorite podcasts on Radio? This isn’t working on E504 on EQE Sedan.
there was an unconfirmed report this is doable in SUV E504.

The streaming controls / podcast feature is quite a mystery as there are so many variables; country, MBUX version, iPhone or Android, and data services.
I can access the Car Talk podcast on my iPhone from the Postcast app, and have it played in the car from Apple CarPlay. Playback in the car is also possible from other apps on my phone.
I was recently invited to enable streaming services (I think from Mercedes Me). I did this for my Amazon Music service. The Sources screen (streaming services) in MBUX shows Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, and TIDAL as streaming sources, but I only have an account with the former. It seems that these sources use the phone to validate that you are subscribed to the service, but do not use cellular data on the phone for playback but rather the MB connection (not an MD subscribed data package). Validated this by turning on Airplane mode and disabling cellular data. Playback continues but stops if the phone is turned off.
Wish all this was clearly documented somewhere.
