I had my dealer update my MBUX software to E504.304 from E330.602 today.

The following changes were observed:

1. Additional digital extra: "Shared Navigation"
2. Additional interfaces to connect my mobile phone to the MBUX system
3. HUD navigation window update: A yellow line now indicates the presence of a highway/interstate in the proximity of travel
4. Additional streaming controls (may have been there before, but un-noticed)
5. Minor main interface updates and icons
6. Updated inside/outside sounds

Things that did not change:

1. Blue route navigation line still is blue/cyan on the driver's screen.
2. Dashcam media still getting confused between media and dashcam

 

What did you use as an "excuse" to get them to perform the upgrade?

 

I told the SA that I had an issue with the HUD showing a yellow line at times without any explanation in the manual.
