Accessories worth buying

Hello everyone. I’m new to the forum and about to pick up my EQE SUV in the next week. Any accessories that people consider must have upgrades once i get the car?
im planning on getting floor mats, truck netting, and a console organizer.

Congrats on your new EQE SUV!
I got an MB Original Equipment trunk mat. It has carpet on one side and rubber on the other side. I really like it. It's easy to pull out and shake off after transporting dirty "stuff".
Also, the "carpeted" floor mats I received with my car felt like heavy felt junk. All in the spirit of saving weight, I guess. So I ordered MB Original Equipment PLUSH floormats for the EQE SUV. They're not cheap, but they're REALLY nice. They remind me of the carpeting in the cars I grew up with in the 60's & 70's.
If you ordered the Dash Cam with your car, you might want to get 90 degree USB-C to USB adapters so you can use a 128 GB thumb-drive for storage deep in the center console storage/arm rest without risk of hitting/breaking the thumb-drive.

Congrats on the upcoming car! @ScottC2 likes the plush floor mats, and I'm sure they're wonderful. If you live anywhere that has a wet or winter weather, I highly suggest the rubber floor mats. They are expensive, but very heavy duty. I highly recommend them, as they keep the car so much cleaner in wet and snowy weather.

Good that you mention the rubber mats. I didn't think of it. Given the weather where I live, rubber floor mats are a standard dealer "freebie" thrown in with just about every new car sold here (including mine). I change my plush mats to the rubber mats when I change to winter tires.

Yeah, I totally forgot you're writing in from Sweden! Makes a lot of sense. Here in the US, they definitely make you pay full price for them.

Should at least see what you think of them. I was surprised by the quality and finish. Many of the non-OE floor mats I've seen don't fit all of the surfaces as well. Past MB rubber mats used to be a bit thicker, but these newer ones fit over well and are cleverly designed.

The OEM Rubber floor mats are outstanding. The best all weather mats on the market. Significantly higher quality than Weathertech.

I also have the OEM Rubber Cargo Mat which is also excellent.

Finally I bought a Mercedes OEM Empty Flacon for the cabin fragrance system. I fill the reusable empty flacon with this:

my experience is the Mercedes Fragrances are junk. Mercedes does sell an empty atomizer flacon which is refillable. The part number is
A2228990188

I also find the best fragrances for use in the car are Diptyque. They are interior fragrances so designed to fragrance a space rather than a person.

go to the diptyque website. Using the menus click on candles and home and then on sprays. Any of those are good. I recommend the Ambre and the 34 (Diptyque’s signature scent which is used in their stores). 34 is also the signature scent of my house.

Do be aware that anything you put on the roof is going to have a significant impact on range.
One test showed a roof box reduced range by more than 23% on highway.
If you have a hitch, a hitch carrier has less impact (about 10%) on range.

Good point. If you use, or intend to use ferries, then it's also good to keep in mind that some charge extra for roof boxes and some prohibit them outright (I suspect due to overall height).
