This question is for those community members who either currently own, or have owned an AMG EQE 53 SUV.
If you were in the market today for such a vehicle, or similar, what might you consider other than a:
Excellent Condition 1 owner, clean Carfax 2024 CPO AMG EQE SUV for $64k with 9k miles (original MSRP of $118k).
The question is - "what else might you rather have?"
Thanks!

I have never purchased a used vehicle regardless of manufacture. I purchased a similar vehicle NEW 24 months ago for which i just finished the 2yr service today. Other than some software updates, there's been no other service required. Net, the vehicle has been trouble-free for two years. I couldn't ask for anything more. YMMVOriginally Posted by sarends

I've seen EQS AMG's for not a ton more that I think I would rather have. Originally Posted by sarends

I would never buy a used car or even a demonstrator with only a few hundred miles on it. My top picks for an SUV are the all electric AMG EQE SUV and EQS SUV.

Too funny, i purposely bought a 1 yr old loaner eqe suv w 2k miles cause i figured all the kinks and issues would have surfaced by then and been addressed.
I guess there's an *** for every seat.

Those 2,000 miles were probably by vehicle abusers who didn't care about the consequences of flogging the engine when cold, etc.
Why buy a used car along with someone else's troubles?
I've never bought a new MB that had kinks and issues in over 60 years of MB ownership.

Then you never purchased an early model of the EQE or EQS. Both of these had a software problem that would render the car undriveable for 15 minutes until a reset was performed. The fix was released at least a year later. It was an inconvenience when you knew what was going it, vs 6 weeks in the shop for the inexperienced tecks to tear the car apart looking for a physical wiring problem.Originally Posted by ua549

Yeah that sounds like the typical mb owner but I'm going with the idea it was a 50-70yr old who brought their car in for service to the dealership they've been going to for 60 yrs and wanted to see what an EV experience is like.
As I said, An *** for every seat (and I'm not referring to you😀
