Another OBD2 connection help request
Hi. I had my OBD Scanner tool (Veepeak OBD2 ELM327) successfully connected to my EQB. Noe it is not working on the EQE. Any Help here available? Is the EQE protected? The Veepeak Website says it is compatible with all cars from X Date. So it should be able to find the Connection. I started the connection and it failed in the EQA/EQB setting. 3/3 Attempts- failure message. in the standard Mercedes Setting it went to 2 Attempts and then to 17/17 different Checks. Failure.
What setting do I have to use as there are only 2 Settings for EV’s and the standard first in Row Setting as suggested by the APP to use if the specific Car is not listed.
I just charged my Car over night at home to 80% and wanted to check the Battery Temperature.

Thanks but there is nothing on Amazon that I can see specifically mentioning this Star3 system certificate or coding. Is nobody here already using one in their newer Vehicle Type that is as simple to use as the regular OBD2 Scanner? I loved the way one is able to make your own screen with the display selections from all these sensors it detects and reads. I’m not so sure if these other scanners do this too. I don’t need a scanner tool to check Diagnostic error codes to reset. Just the readout of my EQE inner workings and the EV Battery System. I don’t see this in the vast and confusing Amazon Product lineup.

I have an SDS and cannot talk to my EQEs, it requires an active login to Xentry's online portal. So, even with the right equipment, I can't talk to my cars at all. The cars all use FlexRay, which is secured and requires online authentication in the case of these cars.

I know my Foxwell 510 does not work. I can't even get my Xentry system to work with the most recent hard drive update. I think MB has locked us out until someone figures out a work around, if ever.
