I'm starting to think the upcoming EQE SUV might be the sweet spot:
  • More practical and better looking compared to the EQE sedan (I believe lots of people have similar feelings towards the EQS SUV vs the EQS sedan)
  • Cheaper than the EQS SUV for people like me who don't necessarily need a third row and/or the extra space

How much are you willing to pay for the EQE SUV? I'm thinking about the EQE sedan and my budget is $65K.

I'd say around $75k after options? Comparable to the mid-trim Audi e-tron.
I suspect $65k is cutting it super close but we'll see.

I think the EQE SUV would be around $5K more than the sedan. It would be between $65K to $75K ( enough to qualify the $7.5K credit) The sedan won't qualify and would not be more than the SUV. Nowadays, people buy more SUVs than sedans. We'll see.

Surprisingly the EQS SUV is only $100-1000 within the sedan depending on the trim/package. Perhaps because its built in the USA? I have a feeling the EQE SUV likely will be a bit more, but there is hope for it to fit the qualifications, now if only MBUSA would announce the EQE pricing!

I'm interested in the EQE sedan and waiting for the price announcement. I'm ordering the VW ID4 for my son since May 22 and waiting forever not knowing when the Chattanooga plan will start building it. So, i think we won't see much of these cars on the dealers lot until at least the end of 2023. Nowadays, dealers make some markup price to make the cars so expensive.
