That would be a deal-breaker if true into 2024 model year. However, I spoke with an MB engineer at CES and he said the chip shortage is improving and he is optimistic for 2024MY production beginning in July, although it may be constrained to the 500 and not on the 350. It is currently available for Swedish EQE per another member here. I would step up a model to the 500 for Hyperscreen before leaving completely. I can't see the standard instrument panel speedometer upper left quadrant in any comfortable seating/steering wheel position with my height. Have you had anyone around 6'2" try the base panel? We may differ in leg vs. torso length, but it doesn't work for me...unfortunately high gauge positioning behind the wheel rim top.
