Issues Logging in to YouTube.
when I try to log into YouTube on the mbux v2.4 I get an error that my browser is insecure and won’t let me sign in.
anyone know if this is a common problem or if it’s just me?

Use desktop mode. Also please share images and version number of your OS. Did you get the update OTA?
I have opened a support request and sent all info on this matter. Hopefully they will come up with a solution.
after all, it’s likely just a certificate issue and should be easily fixed with a update.
Afterwards I was able to log in to YouTube.
Can you tell me:
1) Is it the on-off button for MBUX on the center console? Or is it the automobile on/off button I should hold down for 10 seconds?
2) Should I start holding the button down from when the system is already off? Or should I turn the system on and then hold the button for 10 seconds?
3) Did you lose any profiles or configuration doing this? In other words, do I risk resetting the entire MBUX system to factory?

Hi which support did you reach you to? Can you share how? I’d do the same least it will get us 2.4 sooner
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Just tried the "10 second reset" mentioned in this thread and it obviously did a full startup after (sort of like after a Windows Ctrl-Alt-Del).
But the problem with logging into YouTube/Google persists and the apparent inability for the car to present a custom passenger display picture that has been successfully synchronized for selection.
Further to this, I still get the "headphones required" message on the passenger screen and I have read that this should have gone away with MBUX 2.4.
All of this makes me wonder if the car has, for whatever reason, still not fully adopted/implemented the 2.4 update.
the help above about resetting didn’t help but I actually tried making a new Google account using my work email, and not making a new Google email.
then it works so my guess is it’s some 2factor issue.
So until Mercedes-Benz can figure out how to make this work that’s at least an option. Since I have YouTube family I just added this email and it now got premium.
not a fix but a slight workaround.
